SABATTI STR 6.5 CREEDMOOR
The new Sabatti Tactical bolt-action rifle, model “STR” (Sabatti Tactical Rifle), is the latest addition to the already comprehensive range of tactical rifles manufactured by Sabatti. However, while its predecessor, the Tactical Syn. model, was designed mainly for precision target shooting, the STR has been created for tactical “field” applications where superior accuracy is required.
The STR rifle comes with the Sabatti signature short action and a 7-round magazine. The barrel is 0.8’’diameter at the muzzle and comes with 5/8’’-24 threads to fit most accessories available on the market today.
FEATURES:
- Barrels that overheat less and produce minimal shot migration on target;
- More durable barrels than standard Match barrels – less wear and, therefore, improved precision over time;

- A rigid stock that will not misshape on shooting to the detriment of precision?
- A rifle that truly fits you instead of you trying to fit the rifle
- Exceptional shot groups with standard ammunition, with no need for reloading?

THE PRODUCT
The STR is the latest addition to the already comprehensive range of Sabatti tactical rifles. Its technical and mechanical features are the same as the model STR.

The rifle comes standard with a thread cup and professional muzzle brake with radial holes designed for precision target shooting. For true tactical applications. The bolt features an interchangeable tactical handle and an external magazine release lever particularly suitable for the faster pace of competitions. The trigger on this rifle is either the three-lever Match or. The Tactical modular butt and grip are machined from two solid blocks of high resistance Ergal 55 light alloy. The fully adjustable butt stock can be folded to a smaller size for ease of transportation. Additionally, the Model STR can be ordered with or without a butt stock as it fits all “M4” type stocks sold on the market today thus giving every shooter maximum freedom of choice.

The Sabatti MRR barrel is fitted with a custom AR-style Picatinny hand guard that matches the 20 MOA rail on the action. Three additional rails on the hand guard can accommodate any accessory a shooter may want. While the action rail is in steel, the mating full-length top Picatinny rail and the side rails are all machined from solid billets of Ergal 55 alloy.

A synthetic rod connects the barrel cover to the stock body to facilitate free-standing shooting or for ease of transportation with folded stock.

Sabatti S.p.A. has designed and introduced a new precision rifling profile called MULTI-RADIAL (MRR®) with unique features over that of traditional rifling.

The objective was to develop a rifling system with all the positives of the traditional type and none of the negatives.

If you compare the TRADITIONAL RIFLING (pic. 1 below) with the POLYGONAL (pic. 2 below) and the MULTI-RADIAL ones (pic. 3 below), you will see that the last one is ideal with both traditional and monolithic bullets.

With MULTI-RADIAL barrels (pic. 3) two different radiuses alternate in order to positively grip the bullet geometrically without submitting it to extreme stress.

As a matter of fact, the bullets are pressure formed following a circumference and not cut like in traditional rifling (pic. 1) which extends the life cycle of the barrel. Also there is no sharp corner to fill like in the other rifling systems (pic. 1 & 2), therefore the barrel is cleaner and wears more slowly.
